Community Work and VolunteerismThe Spirit of Giving Back:Over 20 years ago one of Dr. Eshaghi’s mentors and now friend; Dr. Harvey Brody instilled the spirit of giving back in her. Last year Dr. Eshaghi made the dream of serving the community in Africa a reality by going on a mission trip to Kenya. She met her team in Nairobi and together they travelled to Migori to serve the Orphanage of Kenya Relief organisation and the community in Migori. She describes the trip as life changing, humbling, eye opening and the greatest experience of her life. She will return to Kenya whenever possible to continue serving the people of Kenya. She believes that is one of her calling in life.
